Meet Bob. Bob’s a pretty swell guy.
Ever since Bob was a small child he dreamed of being an entrepreneur. When Bob was 6, he started selling corn for $0.39 a dozen next to his father’s machinist shop, which would later become the Johnsonburg Furniture location. As he grew he found he had a passion for mechanics. He began fixing his friends bicycles. Later, as a teen and young adult he upgraded to cars. Even today, Bob can often be found turning a wrench on his latest project antique vehicle in one of the garages. In 1971, Bob married his sweetheart, Bonnie and they raised two children, Randy and Carrie.
In 1982 Bob and Bonnie decided to make the leap into small business and converted his fathers machine shop into his first furniture store. What started in a two stall garage has grown to two locations totaling in excess of 50,000 square feet. Now, with their son Randy, they operate stores in Brookville and Johnsonburg with a huge variety of furniture for any home and any budget.
